مُلخص البحث تعد قضايا الاستدامة واحدة من أهم القضايا المعاصرة ومحور فعال من محاور التنمية المستدامة. فالعالم يواجه العديد من التحديات البيئية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، لذا أصبحت الاستدامة عاماً مؤثرًا في كافة التحديات وسبل حلها وتلبية الاحتياجات. إذ تساهم الاستدامة في التوازن السليم بن البيئة والعدالة الاجتماعية بما يحقق الانتعاش الاقتصادي للمجتمعات. أثارت قضايا الاستدامة اهت ام المؤسسات الثقافية، وفي طليعتها المتاحف باعتبارها تولي اهت ام خاص لخدمة وتنمية المجتمع، فضاً عن دورها المحوري في صون واستدامة الراث المادي وغر المادي، وهو الدور الذي امتد لإستدامة مختلف عناصر هذا الراث، مصادره، ومظاهره. ومن جانبها، تعمل المتاحف عي تطبيق أبعاد الاستدامة المختلفة في شتى الوظائف والأدوار المعني بها المتحف. وذلك إيمانًا بالدور الخدمي والتنموي للمتاحف في كافة القضايا العالمية التي تحدث تأثرًا مباشرًا في كافة المجتمعات المتنوعة. محاولة في ذلك الكشف عن كافة الجوانب والأبعاد الخاصة بالاستدامة، وتعمل أيضًا عى التوعية بهذه الأبعاد. وتعتبر الاستدامة البيئية، واستدامة التقاليد من حرف وصناعات وثقافات ذات صلة هي الأبعاد الأكر أهمية وإهتمامًا فعليا في المتاحف. تستكشف هذه الوثيقة فرص تلاقي المتاحف والاستدامة والتكامل بينهم، وتسلط الضوء عى أهمية المبادرات المستدامة وتأثيرها عى المجتمع وقطاع المتاحف. وعليه، تهدف هذه الورقة إلي: 1. الوقوف عي دور المتاحف في نر الوعي بقضايا الإستدامة، وتقديم الحلول والمقترحات التي يمكن للمجتمع عي مستوي المؤسسات والأفراد تبنيها لتحقيق محاور الاستدامة المختلفة. 2. تقييم دور المتاحف في تحقيق الاستدامة عي مختلف الأصعدة من خال تحليل التجارب والفعاليات المختلفة التي تقدمها.
Abstract Sustainable development is widely recognized as one of the most pressing contemporary issues. Sustainable development has become integral to today›s global challenges and needs. Sustainable development contributes to the achievement of economic recovery by maintaining a balance between the environment and social justice. In recent years, sustainability issues have received significant attention from cultural institutions, particularly museums, since museums place a high priority on the development and service of society. Furthermore, they play a crucial role in preserving and sustaining tangible and intangible heritage. In addition, they sustain the multitude of elements, sources, and manifestations that form heritage. Consequently, museums are committed to integrating sustainability into their functions and roles. As a result, museums recognize that they serve and develop global issues directly affecting various societies globally. An attempt to reveal all aspects and dimensions of sustainability and raise awareness of these dimensions. Environmental sustainability and the sustainability of traditions of crafts, industries, and related cultures are the most significant dimensions of interest in museums. This paper explores the intersection of museums and sustainability. It highlights the importance of sustainable initiatives and their impact on the museum sector and vice versa. Therefore, it aims at: 1. Standing up for museums› role in sustainability awareness. It provides solutions that society at the institutional and individual levels can adopt to achieve sustainability. 2. Evaluating museums› role in sustainability at different levels by analyzing their various experiences and activities.
