مُلخص البحث ترصد هذه الورقة مواضع تمثيل الثامون في المعابد المصرية خال الع ر البطلمي، وتناقش موضوعات المناظر والنقوش التي ظهر فيها الثامون، أدوارهم، هيئتهم، والمغزي من تمثيلهم. وتناقش الورقة ظاهرة الإحال والإبدال والإدماج بن الأرباب تطبيقا عي مواضع الأزواج الأربع بالثامون لتشمل بذلك حالات التبادل في الترتيب بن الأزواج »Position Order« ، حالات إحال زوجًا محل أخر »Alternation« أو الإبدال »Replacment« ، حالات الإدماج بين بعض الأرباب في ربوبية واحدة »Inhabiting« ، الحالات التي جسد فيها الثامون بعدد أقل أو أكر من ثمانية أرباب. وتقدم بذلك حصر وتحليل لهذه الحالات وما يمكن استنتناجه في ضوء دراستنا للفكر الديني المصري. وفي هذا الإطار يسعي الباحث لمناقشة الرمزية العددية للثامون، ظاهرة الإبدال والإحال بن أزواجه وأسباب ارتباط ظهور بعض الأزواج في معابد دون غيرها، أو الظهور الخاص لأحد الأزواج علي رأس الثامون في معبد أو في مقاطعة معينة دون غيرها؛ وغيرها من صور الإبدال والإحال أو الإدماج داخل ثامون الأشمونين.
Abstract Replacement, Alternation, And Position Order In The Hermopolitan Ogdoad In The Ptolemaic Temples The paper explores the Hermopolitan Ogdoad›s testimonies found in Egyptian temples during the Ptolemaic and Greco-Roman Periods. The thematic representations are analyzed, and the roles, depictions, and iconography are discussed. The paper examines the replacement, merging, and coexistence of deities in the four divine pairs of the Ogdoad. It discusses the exchange of positions, the replacement of couples, and the merging of deities. The representation of the Ogdoad varied in the Egyptian religion, with some cases having a small number of deities and others having a large number. These cases have been also studied and analyzed. The scholar discussed the symbolic number of the Ogdoad as well as the phenomena of Replacement, Alternation, Merging, and Inhabiting between Egyptian deities. He attempted to explain the replacement of gods in certain temples and which couples appeared in front of the eight deities in specific temples or districts.
